Our proprietary Bio-cat Insta TechnologyTM platform is dedicated to developing novel enzymes with exceptional capabilities. We employ novel strains of hardy microorganisms discovered through NIPTM, and train them to produce enzymes that have remarkable endurance. Enzymes we develop with BCITTM are durable and tolerant, remaining stable in adverse conditions and active for extended periods of time.
Using STREAC technology, we design proprietary enzyme activators to make our biological inputs responsive to stress signals from the environment. These meticulously-designed enzyme complexes “listen” for abiotic (moisture, temperature, pH, etc) and biotic (insects, nematodes, bacterial or fungal pathogens, etc) stress. When triggered by these signals, our biologicals are activated, giving crops access to its benefits. STREAC makes biologicals highly-stable, extending their shelf-life considerably.
Our proprietary XenGrid™ application analyzes the metabolite signatures of plant extracts, enabling us to standardise the ingredients going into our products. The tool tracks hundreds of metabolites in a single fraction of sample, allowing us to consistently draw these extracts at high efficiencies from our fermentors. A feature in XenGrid™ also allows in-depth comparisons and visualisation across various batches of metabolite samples.
Using strain engineering, we have introduced genes for the omega-3 fatty acid (DHA) pathway into a strain of yeast, Pichia Pastoris. Our proprietary XenDHA yeast strain can produce high-quality DHA fit for human consumption. This eliminates the risk of heavy metal poisoning associated with consuming sub-standard fish oil, which has been used for decades as a classic source of omega-3 fats.
